The corpus callosum is a thick band of nerve fibers that divides the cerebrum into left and right hemispheres. It connects both sides of the brain, allowing for communication between them. The corpus callosum transfers motor, sensory, and cognitive information between hemispheres.

Balanced abilities in both arenas is an important attribute of most architects – the ability to execute projects with technical proficiency, while maintaining aesthetic appeal.  When children write letters backward, it indicates their thoughts are more actively negotiating these two realms.  Likewise, ambivalence and ambiguity (illustrated by this zodiac symbol) are often indicators of creative thinking.

The coRRnice Logo celebrates this left-right transfer.  RR facilitates communication of drawn spaces through Autodesk Revit 3-D Building Information Modeling. This advanced technology is used to represent spaces, quantify materials, and coordination disciplines. The software enables execution of larger projects traditionally requiring an office team, yet with low overhead.
